Collection relating to the service of 1966 John O'Connor
Description
Original grave marker of 1966 Private John O'Connor's grave. These were included in an Austalian Imperial Force folder identifying details of Private O'Connor and burial location 666. The AIF based in London sent copies of graves back to their families. The grave reads "RIP; 41st Battn.; In Loving Memory of Pte J O'Connor 1966 killed in action 20.1.17; AIF".
The grave to the left of Private O'Connor is of 146 Sergeant Fraser Harold George Cudday. The grave reads "In memory of; 146 SBT.; H.G.CUDDAY; 41st A.I.F; KILLED IN ACTION; 21.1.17; ERECTED BT N. C. Os OF 'A' COMPANY".
