Recording of the song titled, 'The veteran's song: long live the King', created as part of the Music and the First World War project. Lyrics written by Frederic Weatherly with music composed by Stephen Adams. Produced by Chris Latham, with David Hidden as vocalist and Alan Hicks on piano. This recording was made at Flat Rock Studios, Sydney, on 27 November 2018. The work is performed in the spirit of the time with some changes made for the modern ear.
