[Sound recording] A Soldier's Life
Description
Recording of the instrumental piece titled 'A Soldier's Life', created as part of the Music and the First World War project. Music composed by Carl Reber. Produced by Chris Latham, with Alan Hicks on piano. This recording was made at Flat Rock Studios, Sydney, on 26 June 2018. The work is performed in the spirit of the time with some changes made for the modern ear.
Chris Latham, producer of this recording, notes: 'This is a series of little vignettes. It is an example of the genre of descriptive music.'
