Recording of the song titled 'What do you think of the Kaiser?', created as part of the Music and the First World War project. Lyrics and music written by Chas Vaude. Produced by Chris Latham, with David Hidden as vocalist and Alan Hicks on piano. This recording was made at Flat Rock Studios, Sydney, on 17 July 2018. The work is performed in the spirit of the time with some changes made for the modern ear.
Chris Latham, producer of this recording, notes: 'This is a very well made piece of propaganda that would have been wildly popular at the time. The chorus is very catchy.'
