Description
Framed studio portrait of 2151 Private Arthur Edwin Warwick Saunders, 30th Battalion. A labourer from Delungra, NSW, Private Saunders enlisted on 3 August 1915. He embarked for overseas service on 16 February 1916 and joined the 10th Field Artillery Brigade upon arrival in Egypt. He proceeded to the Western Front in June 1916 and was killed in action on 23 September 1917, age 23 years.
