The presence of UNTAC in Cambodia is to help Cambodian people
Description
An educational poster in Cambodian produced by the United Nations Transitional Authority for Cambodia (UNTAC). This is one of many posters that were disseminated throughout 1992 and 1993 to inform Cambodians of the work of UNTAC and the services they provided. The poster informs the reader that the presence of UNTAC in Cambodia is to help Cambodian people: restore peace, promote national reconciliation, supervise withdrawal of foreign forces, demobilise the four factions, protect human rights, assist in repatriation, prepare for elections, rebuild the country. On the poster appear eight images of smiling Cambodians.
