UNTAC human rights poster
Description
An educational poster in Cambodian designed to promote human rights and produced by the United Nations Transitional Authority for Cambodia (UNTAC). The poster depicts the stylised image of grazing cattle and people in an expanse of fields. On the horizon huts and palm trees are visible. In the lower left is a figure of a Cambodian man with a hoe over his shoulder. UNTAC developed a human rights education programme which included support for local human rights organizations. This is one of many posters were disseminated throughout 1992 and 1993 to inform Cambodians of the work of UNTAC and the services they provided.
