Description
In 2017 three contemporary artists, Alison Alder, Jake Holmes and Wendy Murray, were commissioned to make a new work in response to the Memorial's wartime poster collection.
In a playful series of posters Jake Holmes(b.1988) references the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA) posters held in the Memorial's collection. He has imagined a future where robots have replaced humans in the workplace. Issued by the fictional Ministry for Robotics and produced by the National Society for the Prevention of Human Labour, these posters take a light-hearted look at our possible futures.
