Wallet 1 of 1 – Consists of eight letters from James Trevor Shreeve to his sister Mona Ellen “Peg” Turner (née Shreeve), and brother, Ron Shreeve. Shreeve wrote these letters in c.1941-1944, while he was serving in Darwin, Northern Territory. In his letters, Shreeve writes about being very busy, receiving a gift from home, resolutions relating to alcohol consumption, being in hospital with malaria, hearing news of his brother who was a prisoner of war, and his hopes to visit home on leave. He also makes enquiries regarding family members and responds to news from home.
