Portrait of Bruce Hamilton, 12 weeks
Description
Portrait of Bruce Ernest Hamilton at 12 weeks of age. His parents were Joan Millicent Hamilton (nee Wilmot) and NX80827 Corporal Henry Ernest Hamilton, 2/33 Battalion, who was killed in Borneo within days of recieving his first photographs of his baby son. This print is thought to have been one of those sent to him in Borneo. Bruce died at the age of five from complications during a tonsilectomy.
