Description
Photograph of the grave marker of 7446 Private John Thomas Burrell, 3rd Battalion. A labourer from Millthorpe, NSW, Burrell enlisted on 20 April 1917, aged 20 years. Following training, he was assigned to the 3rd Battalion and embarked for overseas service on 31 October 1917. Pte Burrell was killed in action on 23 August 1918.
