Brigade areas are shown by coloured shapes in a single divisional colour. 5, 6 and 7 brigades of 2 division are brown. 9, 10 and 11 brigades of 3 division are pale yellow. 8, 14 and 15 brigades of 5 division are green. 117, 118, 119 and 120 American infantry regiments of 30 American division are red. 105, 106, 107 and 108 American infantry regiments of 27 American division are blue.
Top right corner has Secret Copy No. 5 in red ink and 209 stamped in blue ink. Bottom right corner has in pencil 177 in a circle and underneath is 3DRL/2316 (50/209). On the rear is the standard map key including French to English translation of features. Near the top centre in pencil is the date 29/9/18 and at lower left is 3DRL/2316 [50/209].
