Page 21 of an album of photographs either taken or collected by Roy Cecil Phillipps (later Squadron Leader R.C Phillipps MC & Bar DFC) when employed by the pastoralist firm Connor, Doherty & Durack Ltd in the Kimberley region of Western Australia from 1912 until his enlistment in the AIF in April 1915. The photographs were sent to his mother in Perth, Mrs Cecil R. Phillipps, who arranged them in an album and wrote the accompanying captions.of 70. Images on this page depict the family and friends of Roy Cecil Phillipps (later Squadron Leader R.C Phillipps MC & Bar DFC) in Perth prior to the First World War. Images are of: "Uncle Ted" (P08151.021.001), "Sir Walter and Lady James" (P08151.021.002), a cat (P08151.021.003), "Roy the angel, aged 12" (P08151.021.004), "Uncle Ted. The white spot at his feet is the top of Mr Moso's head. Ted --- on his chest" (P08151.021.005), and "Uncle Ted when [?] were worn - at my office" (P08151.021.006).
