Informal outdoor portrait of Captain Roy Cecil Phillipps and his wife Ellen 'Nell' Hillman Phillipps (nee Robinson) on their wedding day. Phillipps married Miss Robinson, daughter of Mr R.T Robinson, K.C., Attorney General for Western Australia, on 8 September, 1917 at St Mary Abbott's, Kensington. It was reported in the press at the time that the bridegroom only obtained leave for the wedding the previous day. See also P08151.046.002.
