Description
Two women, probably of the Durack family, observe the view from a freshly cut road, most likely Button's Gap. Button's Gap was named after one of the well known drovers of the Durack family, Robert Button. He found the most efficient way to move the cattle through the Deception Range on the way to the Port of Wyndham. The Gap is approximately six kilometres from Ivanhoe Station. See image at P08151.016
