Description
Letters relating to the First World War service of 614 Private Kenneth Jack Young, 43rd Australian Infantry Battalion. This file contains letters from Kenneth Jack Young to his parents and sister from January 1918 until his death in July from wounds sustained at the Battle of Hamel. It covers his education at No 3 Group Signal School, and on active duty in France. In some letters Young signs off his letters as 'Billy'.
