485 Shoeing Smith Corporal Federick George Livermore Gardiner, enlisted on 26 August 1914 in the Brigade Ammunition Column of 1 Field Artillery Brigade. He returned to Australia on 3 December 1919. He was Awarded the Military Medal between 2-4 October 1917 at Westhoek, Belgium.
