File of letters relating to the First World War service of Major Frederick Phillimore Howell-Price, Desert Mounted Corps. These letters mention: his pride as being appointed acting adjunct for the unit but his disappointment at the same time over not being sent to the front; his visits with a English nurse working in Egypt who had looked after his brother Philip while in hospital; and his thoughts on the locations for the rest of the war.
