Folio and photograph of the grave marker of 987 Trooper Samuel Cook, 5th Light Horse Regiment. A labourer from Atherton, Queensland, Tpr Cook enlisted on 11 January 1915. He was wounded in action at Gallipoli and evacuated to Egypt, where he subsequently died as a result of the wounds on 14 November 1915.
