War grave of 420032 Warrant Officer Alexander Edward McGee
Description
Temporary cross erected at the gravesite of 420032 Warrant Officer (WO) Alexander Edward McGee, 458 Squadron, RAAF, in Marseilles. WO McGee was lost at sea after his aircraft was shot down on 8 April 1944. He was buried with 'unknown' status at Lagoubron Cemetery, Toulon, but after identification in 1948 was reinterred at Mazargues War Cemetery.
