AJRP Sub-Series name: Post-surrender Rabaul material received from HQ 8 Military District. This item is a detailed plan for constructing Japanese camps in Rabaul. Matters discussed include the main objectives of operations of camps, locations of camps, construction procedures under the supervision of the Australians, formation of a construction unit at each camp, food supply and production, management of farm land, preparation for moving into camps, changes to the existing command structure, transfer of equipment for food production, etc. A number of corrections and suggestions are entered in pencil. An attachment includes information on the compostition of the camps in Akane, Nishiboekiten, Kagamihara, Tauril and Toma, cultivated and arable land value around each camp, and the volume of water supply (in Koku)
