Description
AJRP Sub-Series name: Post-surrender Rabaul material received from HQ 8 Military District. This item is an outline of educational programs conducted at Japanese camps in Rabaul. It discusses the main purpose of education at camps and provides guidlines for selection of subjects, recruitment of teaching staff, responsibilities to be assumed by the head of each camp, and development and vocational training. Preparatory courses for further studies in Japan, foreign language instruction and programs to cultivate artistic sentiments were also considered.
