Description
AJRP Sub-Series name: Post-surrender Rabaul material received from HQ 8 Military District. This item is a copy of a letter from Lieutenant Colonel OTA to the Chiefs of Staff at the Japanese camps in Rabaul. He requests the donation of blankets, pillows, crockery, mosquito nets and so forth for lawyers defending alleged Japanese was criminals. OTA, formerly Chief of Staff of the Line of Communication Unit of the 8th Area Army, was a member of the defence team when this letter was written.
