Description
Second World War poster issued by the Soldiers' Sailors' and Airmen's Families Association promoting the role of their Family Welfare Officers to service personal. One of three designs, this depicts the back of a sailor sitting, smoking a cigarette and looking out to sea. The cigarette smoke encircles an image of a family house above him, with clothes hanging on the washing line and a smoking chimney.
