Wallet 1 of 1 – Consists of one diary of Sergeant Stephen William Grimsley, containing entries dated between 1 February and 21 December 1942. This diary was written while Sergeant Grimsley was serving as a wireless operator and air observer with 11 Squadron and 20 Squadron in Port Moresby, New Guinea. In his diary, Sergeant Grimsley writes about air raids, destruction done by bombs, receiving mail from home, seeing aerial dogfights, and being strafed by Japanese aircraft.
