Collection relating to 403445 Flt Lt Douglas Leigh Maddrell RAAF during his service in North Africa with 459 Squadron.
Description
Annotation on reverse reads; 'December 1942. This is the largest graveyard visible from the road between side Barrani and Sollum. Actually it is very near Sollum. Although the crosses at the heads of the graves are not visible particularly well, these graves are a muxture of mainly German with Italians and very few British.'
