Description
Members of the Australian Movement Control Unit serving in Somalia as part of the Unified Nations Operation in Somalia (UNOSOM 1). They are maintaining their physical fitness by exercising at an outdoor gym at the airport. Pictured second from left is Corporal Darren Smith, who was one of 18 soldiers killed in a training accident in Townsville on 12 June 1996, when two Blackhawk helicopters crashed.
