A topographic map with colour on linen, drawn by hand, depicting an area near Ploegsteert, including the River Douve. Scale 1:5,000, possibly dated 11-4-1917. The map features various streets and landmarks identified using names such as 'Quebec Ave', Westminster Ave' and 'The Only Way'. Certain roads are colour coded to show the route of approach for the 33rd, 35th, 39th and 40th Battalions. It also features the numbers '106', '3DRL2316[50/81]' and '81', and the letters 'GOC'.
