Description
A handrawn map with colour on tracing paper titled 'Identification Trace for use with Artillery Maps' covering an area around Ploegsteert. Scale 1:10,000, dated 15-5-1917. The map depicts roads in blue, red and yellow. Annotations include 'Ref. Ploegsteert; 28 S.W. 4 Ed 4A', 9th Australian Infantry Brigade, and the numbers '91', '3DRL2316[50/90]' and '119'. Messines - 9th Bde suggested approach routes.
