Description
A handrawn paper map with coloured ink made from two sheets covering the area between Wulverghem and Messines. Scale 1:10,000. Map includes roads, buildings, vegetation and locations of brigades. Areas of the map are colour coded to show locations and movements of troops. Annotations include '68', '3DRL2316[50/68]', '157', 'Messines Brigade', 'First Day Centre', and 'Leading Bde'. Messines - Col. Jackson's rough design for the proposed attack.
