Map features roads, railways, boundaries, trenches, buildings, rivers, and vegetation. Annotations include two legends, '163', '65', 'Map 1; Secret; Copy No III', 'Heavy Artillery', 'Approx British Outpost Line', 'Objective Line', 'Old British Railway Systems not in use', and 'Horse Lines and Shelters'. '23' in blue pencil and 'G.O.C.' written on reverse.
