Corporal Julie Baranowski a woman member of the Military Police, in a jeep (Land Rover 48.047) undertaking a street patrol while a corporal in the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR), walks in front of the vehicle. Corporal Baranowski was in demand as the Somali men used to hide weapons under their women's clothes in the hope of avoiding searches by male soldiers.
