Somalia. 1993-03-15. A civil aid worker speaks with a Somali interpreter as members of D Company, 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR), speak with Somalis queueing for grain. Note the soldier standing on the roof of the landrover searching the surrounding country with binoculars. They are serving with the Australian contingent to the Unified Task Force in Somalia (UNITAF). (Original negative housed in AWM Archive Store)
