Kunar Province, Afghanistan. 1992-03-10. Local soldier looking over the valley in which operated the United Nations Mine Clearance Training Team - Afghanistan/Pakistan (UNMCTT). The crest in the far distance is the border with Pakistan and the Mujahideen used this valley to approach and attack Asadabad.
