Baidoa, Somalia. 1993-03-29. A Somali woman holds an emaciated child while sitting in the courtyard of the orphanage, located in a former jail and now operated by a Care agency. The child is the subject of a sketch by the Australian artist and photographer George Gittoes. (Colour version at P1735.482)
