Lance Corporal (L Cpl) Darren Davis, a dog handler from 3 Combat Engineer Regiment (CER), shares a joke with a Somali youth during a foot patrol through Baidoa with members of 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR). L Cpl Davis is accompanied by explosive detection dog (EDD) Tia, one of the regiment's three dogs. They are serving with the Australian contingent to the Unified Task Force in Somalia (UNITAF).
