Description
Buurhakaba, Somalia. 1993-03-17. Six members of C Company, 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR), carry out a foot patrol at dusk on the outskirts of the town. Note the monolith on the right. This night patrol led by Corporal Possum wearing night vision goggles hoped to trap Somali bandits in culverts under the road where they stored weapons.
