Description
Dinsor, Somalia. 1993-03-25. Snipers with the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR), with camouflage makeup on their faces ready to begin a reconnaissance training exercise. Behind them are armoured personnel carriers (APCs) from B Squadron, 3/4 Cavalry Regiment. They are serving with the Australian contingent to the Unified Task Force in Somalia (UNITAF).
