Members of 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR) advance on foot over open country during a reconnaissance field training exercise. They are serving with the Australian contingent to the Unified Task Force in Somalia (UNITAF). Identified from right, front to the rear: Private (Pte) Anthony Plater; Corporal Giles Buchanan; Pte Shannon Brow; Pte Danny Goddard; Lance Corporal Clay Anderson.
