Description
French propaganda print 'LA BARBE DU CAPITAINE No.8' depicts Voídeck and two friends from Montmarte, and soldiers on the 72nd infantry. They are ambushed while exploring a bush at nightfall. Hidden in a ditch, they kill eighteen German soldiers and force the seven survivors to surrender. After tying their hands behind their backs, they bring them back. In the poster Voídeck is dragging the leader of the detachment by the beard. Published by Cl. Noé, Paris.
