Clipping his wings
Description
Propaganda print depicting a sailor sitting on the floor barefoot, who is smoking a pipe while cutting the wings of a Reichsadler, the German 'Imperial Eagle with scissors'. Above is a banner that reads 'Clipping his wings'. The artist is unknown, however a monogram with the letter 'W' appears inside a square on the lower left side of the image.
