Pro Patria No.6 Admirable Courage d'un Brancardier
Description
French propaganda print No. 6 in the series 'Pro Patria'. Titled 'The admirable courage of a stretcherbearer' it depicts the moment that a strecther bearer advanced carrying a red cross flag out of the safety of a trench onto the battlefield to rescue the wounded. He was Father Valette of N.D. de Rive-de-gier and reccommended for the Military Medal for his bravery.
