Studio portrait of 1138 Corporal Kenneth Fillan Cole, 37th Battalion. A farmer from Caniambo, Victoria, Cole enlisted on 11 February 1916 and embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A34 Persic on 3 June 1916. He returned to Australia on 19 October 1918. Cole also enlisted in the Second World War serving with the 3rd Garrison Battalion.
