A red and blue map on linen titled 'Map of Gallipoli' covering the area around Erenkeui Bay in Gallipoli. Scale 1:40,000, sheet 1, Survey Dept, Egypt and War Office. Map features roads, populated places, battery locations, rivers, and vegetation. Annotations include '35', '62', 'Fountaino', 'Paren Ovasi', 'Krithia', 'Halil Eli', 'De Tott's Battery (gullied) S.M. Observing Station (disused)', and 'Chiplak'. Purple stamp on reverse that reads 'Gallipoli 1 1:40,000', along with handwritten notes 'Col. Monash Spare' and 'Lt Col J H Cannan; 6/6 15th Bn; 4th Aust, Inf Bde; A & NZ Army [?]'.
