Annotations include '36', '63', 'Halil Eli', 'Entrenchments all along this line', 'wall concealed ? battery', 'Krithia', 'Field work 1 gun emplacement', 'Strongly entrenched position', 'old camp', 'trenches', 'Vineyards Barracks', 'Fountaino', and 'Koja Tepe'. 'No. 1' written on reverse, along with a purple stamp that reads 'Gallipoli 1 1:40,000'.
