Markeboy, Somalia. 1993-03-18. A Somali woman, named Mirow, and her two emaciated grandchildren sit beside the brush wall of a dwelling with food (a high protein porridge) which they have just received from an aid worker. The children's mother had died leaving Mirow to carry them in stages over two weeks to the Catholic Relief Agency feeding point as they were too weak to walk.
