Studio portrait of 12295 Private (Pte) William Arthur Fraser, 10th Australian Field Ambulance. A clerk prior to enlisting on 8 March 1916, he embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Runic (A54) on 20 June 1916. Pte Fraser was killed in action, while stretcher bearing, on 11 August 1918. He was 30 years old.
