Mogadishu, Somalia. 1993-03-10. A member of D Company, 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR), beside an armoured personnel carrier (APC) flying a large Australian flag. The Company is about to set up a road block to conduct weapon searches. Note the heavy loads carried on the shoulders of Somali women walking along the road.
