Description
The Australian artist and photographer, George Gittoes, relaxing with soldiers, sailors and airmen from the Australian Movement Control Unit serving as part of the United Nations Operation in Somalia (UNOSOM 1). He had just finished decorating the exterior timber walls of the post office used by the Australian contingent to UNOSOM 1 by painting nude female figures on the walls.
