Northern Namibia. 1989-06-18. Left to right: Sapper Rob Wickham, of Avoca, Tas; Corporal Rod McGarvie, of Portland, Vic; Sergeant Dave Sinai, of Ferny Grove, Qld; Sapper Greg Roberts, of Nambour, Qld, members of 14th Field Troop serving with the United Nations Transition Assistance Group (UNTAG), on Buffel training at Oshakati. The Buffels, vehicles protected against land mines, were leased by the UN from the South African Defence Force.
